St. Francis Lesson-- October 9th

We all had a great time learning about St. Francis! All of the kids watched a short YouTube video during chapel time, if you would like to see it (or the kids would like to see it again) click here.

The kids did tons of activities today-- they made mobiles, bird feeders, leaf rubbings and they all heard about the wondrous creations on God's earth! There are so many cool stories about St. Francis that it was hard to narrow it down to one. The kids did hear the story of The Song of St. Francis by Tomie dePaola.

The man is so interesting-- born into a wealthy family, but gave it all up for God-- for a biography for adults you can look here.
